Horse/Pony Nominations Due

Please mark May 15, 2012 Tuesday on your calendar. This date is very important to all 4-H H/P members. Your nomination forms are due at the Extension Office by May 15, 2012. Without this form 4-H members cannot show their horses and ponies. If you have any questions, please contact an Advisory Board member immediately. Please do not wait til the last minute!!

Tack Auction Donation

Tack Auction Addition! A yearling Shetland pony has been donated to the auction. This adorable filly is registered with the ASPC. Both parents were National Champions – Hi-Society. She has four white socks and a blaze, and will likely be about 50” or less when grown. Great potential for driving – and a wonderful pet! For questions, call 260-908-1070.

First Meeting for H/P members

Mark your calendar!! February 6, 2012 will be the first 4-H Horse and Pony meeting. Starting at 7:00 pm at the the Exhibit Hall. New members and parents are welcome. Information for the year will be shared at this meeting. If you have any questions, please contact an Advisory Board member.

Judging/Hippology Meetings

Horse Judging has started practicing at the Teen Library at 7:00 pm and will meet on Thursday, January 26, 2012. Contact Brenda S for more information. All interested 4-Hers interested in Hippology should plan on attending the call out meeting on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 6:00 pm at the Teen Library. Contact Tammy S. for more information.
